Three practice areas, one consistent standard
Every engagement, political, public-sector, or corporate, runs through the same rigorous design, fielding, and analysis process.

Core Methodology
01Survey Instrument Design
For telephone, online, or mixed-mode polling
Built on a proven question template, customized to the client's specific needs and target audience, with wording and question order tested to minimize bias. Fielded primarily via phonebank, with a sample built to be representative of the target population.
02Sample Frame Design
And respondent screening to the correct universe
Pulled from voter files, address-based, or panel samples depending on the population, then screened to confirm each respondent actually belongs in the study's universe. A likely-voter or membership screen runs before any answer counts toward results.
03Demographic Quotas
Benchmarked to Census or membership data
Quotas for age, gender, geography, and other key variables are monitored in real time and benchmarked to Census or membership data. Any weighting applied to correct an under-filled quota is disclosed, not left invisible in the topline.
04Reported Confidence Levels
And margins of error for every sample
Every study reports its sample size, confidence level, and margin of error — 95% confidence is standard, yielding about ±4.9 points at n=400. Subgroup margins are reported separately, since they always run wider than the topline figure.
05Real-time Fielding Monitoring
To verify data quality
Response rates and quota fill are tracked live, so stalled sample issues get caught mid-field. Online fielding adds checks for speeders, straight-lining, and duplicate respondents before a record counts as valid.
06Cross-tabulation & Banner-points
Analysis built into every report
Results are broken out by the subgroups — party, geography, age, prior vote history, etc. Where the data supports it, that extends to driver analysis and trend comparisons.
07Client-ready Reporting
Delivered in the format the decision actually needs
Findings are delivered in the format that fits the decision at hand: a full written report, a strategic deck, or a live readout, rather than a one-size-fits-all template.
08Full Methodological Disclosure
Every finding documented and defensible
Every report documents what's needed to evaluate it independently — sponsor, sample source, field dates, mode, and weighting — consistent with AAPOR's Transparency Initiative standards. That's what lets a study hold up when it's challenged by an opponent or reviewed by outside counsel.
